Handshake With Canberra
A beautiful place in Australia that can actually never be compared to any other is the Canberra city. The city is indeed a remarkable place to have your holidays awe inspiring. The city has a huge load of attractions that include the dazzling mountain, tower, gardens and museum which are a few among the numerous highlights that make thousands of tourists flock into the country. The atmosphere is wonderful with a precious landscape which will allow you to move freely. We visited the city with my family at the begging of the school holidays. Our visit to the city was indeed the best we had ever had and this left me no other reason but to share the experience with all and sundry who are planning to experience the same.
We commenced our greatly awaited visit at the stunning New Parliament House. This was a blissful moment for us as we got a chance to experience the new technologically designed building. The design was indeed prominent and appealing to the eyes that we had to take it several photos. The compound was highly embellished with beautiful and charming flowers amidst trees. We enjoyed the cool air under those trees as we also relaxed for some minutes. We then walked into it and were only grateful for the impressive work that had been done. The glass buildings in the neighborhood of the parliament house were also compelling and worthy of being taken snaps. Lake Burley Griffin was also within reach and so we proceed to it for another fabulous moment. The vegetation that surrounded the lake made it a perfect place for relaxing especially in the afternoon. I was so glad that my husband had chosen this spot for our adventure. The cool air was also alluring that we forget about leaving the site and actually spent over 5 hours sauntering in the banks of the lake. The kids were also impressed and had their best time sailing in the boats. It was certainly a perfect place to start off our visit.

The dazzlingAustralian War Memorial Was the second hub we cherished touring. Right from the moment we entered the site, our eyes remained stuck to the numerous highlights that stood all over. It was an incredibly awesome site to visit. The fresh air that met us from the gate revealed to us that this was indeed a paradise. The experience was truly outstanding. The lovely trees that were perfectly arranged along the paths and fields were remarkable and assured everyone there of a tranquil site. The flowers too were magical I had to take their several photos as some of them were very rare in our homeland. We then walked to the military museum for another adventure. The museum is right within the memorial ground. Here we learnt of some of the soldiers who took part in the Great War. We also learnt some of the knowledge that is highly appreciated by the soldiers. The guides also allowed us to admire some of the equipment and machinery that were used in wars. This experience can barely get eroded from the back of our curious minds. Our visit was truly getting more perfect.
We then headed for the alluring Black Mountain Tower. The experience here was truly awesome and one of this kind. We started by a magical ascent of the charming Black Mountain with a great anxiety to know why it had been duped black. However the lots of bare ground with dark soils was probably the reason. The path we followed was a nice one and we treasured every step we went up as it helped us gain more vigor to reach the peak. The atmosphere was also serene and worth of being mentioned. Once at the top, we were struck beyond doubt by the massive and attractive landmarks that stood there, indeed, the tower was rightfully designed by skilled and proficient designers. We had to have it snapped. We then walked into its interior where everything that we saw seemed more appealing. The lifts were highly preserved that we enjoyed the great ascent to the summit of the tower. Here were lots of charming things to witness. We started by getting to the restaurant that was of course a world class for a taste of their meals. We had never tasted such delicious traditional meals as we got here. We then moved to the observation deck where we ha panoramic views of the entire striking Canberra city. The views were truly amazing and actually the binoculars helped us witness the true life in the city. Our visit was definitely going perfect.
We then set forth for impeccable National Carlion. The Carlion is located on a captivating Island which is definitely one of the best places to be away from the hustles and bustles of town and specially the noisy atmosphere. We had a serene time and actually wished that we had known this places long time earlier as it would have been part of our daily visit places. The large carlion could also not miss our attention. The structure had a splendid design actually one that can only be appreciated by taking its photos. We were indeed certain that we would not find such anywhere else. The numerous bells that were dangling below it were spectacular and made the whole structure appear more profound. It was certainly the best thing we had so far witnessed. We also learnt from the locals that the bells sound could be heard far away from the city. Our visit was indeed going awesome and we would definitely visit the site again.
Cockington Green Gardens was another interesting and memorable place that we enjoyed most. The garden is a few meters away from the city center, thus more accessible. It is a wonderful place to have exuberant and enjoyable time. My partner, Danielle was amazed by the beauty of the houses castles and the people. I was very sure there was no any other scenic and mesmerizing place like this that I had seen before. The houses are happily seen from far being surrounded by captivating gardens which provide breathtaking environment. A steam train is another wonderful activity that made our journey worthwhile and remarkable. We enjoyed the ride around the garden which gave us an excellent opportunity to explore the charming and picturesque surrounding. It is surely an exciting place for kids to have fun. Daniela even promised to come with her kids in the next season. Actually, this garden is a heaven like and we promised to revisit it again.
The National Zoo and Aquarium was indeed another fascinating site we stumble upon and actually marked the end of our visit. It is situated along the shores of Lake Burley Griffin. We got a nice chance to adventure and explore the lake’s shore and have a great fun. We enjoyed boat riding, surfing and fishing. We even took with us some roasted fish as a reminder of the spectacular trip. We were moved by what we saw in the animal Zoo. In essence, animals like birds, plants and other wildlife attracted our attention. They looked pretty and basically unique from what had seen before. The zoo on the other hand had an aquarium at the same place. The most exhibited animals include the kangaroos, dingoes, and koalas, Tasmanian devils among many other scarce and rare species. Additionally, you will not miss to encounter some of the big animals in the zoo. The leopards, lions, cheetahs are among the major tycoons and masters of the Zoo. Actually, it is indeed an interesting and lovely place that gave us an excellent time to see and appreciate the wonders of the world. We promised to look for another chance to revisit this place again. Undeniably, our trip in Australia was indeed a remarkable one would visit the city again.
