Barbarism has always taken its first place in the history books; no one can actually describe the extend of it in the world of humanism and civilization. No nation has grown old without the touch of barbarism in its context. The most prominent part is the atrocities and bloody history it has left in its past. The history book gives a tinge of blood, shriveling balls and trembling hearts to the messy cultures of barbarisms.
Among the lot, the most barbaric cultures which still clings to the history books are as follow:-
The Celts Barbarism
The books of History shiver from The Celtic culture. This was one atrocious culture which kept chopped heads as souvenirs after the day long battle. They had a notion that heads consist of the souls, so having the heads of the enemy ground would give them the feeling of bravery. Their atrocity was so horrible that none of witnesses use to remain alive. The history has got its anonymous historians and writers who inscripted the Celtic barbarism throughout the ancient pages. The wall hangings used to be their hunted heads or may be shrunken heads all over the houses.

We always have a weakness in our heart; but this lies true for the Aztecs. Their barbarism was related to beating hearts. Aztecs always believed in human sacrificing for the goddess sun. They believed that God has to be fed with the human slaughtering for making sure they are strong enough for not making the world end. History says the Aztecs use to sacrifice human heart and flesh and skin just to keep the sun god happy.
The sacrifice use to be taken place at the top of a huge pyramid for a better view to all. They use to take a man and sawed his heart out while it’s beating. A beating heart is offered to the Sun god.
The Assyrian Barbarism
The Assyrian Barbarism involved long term harassment and then revolting by using iron weapon rather than bronze ones. The Assyrians used to slaughter all the enemies with iron weapons; thus cutting through their limbs, skin, and flesh as well as walling them up on the city walls. They were crazy slaughters who used to run into the enemy areas and slaughter them before they could start the war.
The movie 300 and 300: the Rise of an Empire is a very popular culture showcasing the barbarism of the Spartans. Though, at the end the Spartans won; but their barbaric culture was never disqualified. A Sparta was considered either a brave man or else a slave for life. They were given the harsh taste of wine just after birth as a measurement of survival.
The Mongols and their Barbarism
The Mongols practiced the most cultural barbarism; their strength of barbarism was like slaughtering a whole country. The terror named Genghis Khan murdered about 400 million people; history pages reflect blood stains, grotesque wounds and messy atrocities.
