The Kokoda Trail
This trail located somewhere between the northern and southern parts of Papua New Guinea is a 100km trail that has seen many visitors gone through it over the years. It is made up of thick rainforest having some wonderful flora and fauna. The rainforest has some sites that were used as battlefields during World War II. Most people who make the trek have to be ready to carry all their basic needs and trek for at least ten hours a day. It would take ten hours of trekking for six days to complete the trail. There are numerous dangers along the way that include constant bites from mosquitoes and leeches, the danger of falling into trenches and even that of being attacked by locals.

This is a man made pathway that is about one meter wide was created between two power plants. It rest on a cliff that is about 1000m high. Although there have been numerous deaths on this cliff over the years and the path is officially closed to the public, those who like a date with death are still attracted by the shear danger and defy all restrictions to walk the path. The path is destroyed in some places but these adventurers wouldn’t give up. The rails has fallen off in some places such that the really daring have to be looking down straight at 1000mof rock as they walk the path.

This beautiful cliff in Ireland that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean is a beautiful sight to behold. Although there are safety rails all around, it doesn’t take away from the beauty. There are walking trails all around which become really deadly in some places. Even with the signs warning people to stay off the walls, one can’t help but notice the dangerous nature of this adventure. Strong winds and rains together with loose gravel add to the dangerous nature of this place.
Acapulco used to be synonymous with exotic beaches and wonderful holiday resorts and it still is only this time too many news of murders has helped to take away from the attractiveness of this location. When you here of 200 murders within two months then you know you should be heading the other way. Although locals have been quick to point out that these murders are drug related, you never know when you can become collateral damage.
Most families would love to go for white water rafting but when such activities on this river have been met with fatal accidents then you know it is better to stay off. Problems in the river have been associated melting ice caps and heavy rainfall.
