Ultimate Festival of Colors- Holi

You think you have seen colors before? Holi which has become the ultimate festival of colors; a Hindu religious festival makes the beginning of spring. It takes place in the month of March every year. It is celebrated around India and Nepal. The festival involve the explosions of colored powder that is bright or even liquid dyes. Holi makes use of bonfires to scare away evil.  This takes place in the City Palace in Udaipur, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh, which is known for being home to Krishna.


New Orleans Version of Carnival- Mardi Gras

This is the New Orleans version of a great Carnival. Mardi Gras incorporates the influence of the French into New Orleans, into its Pre-Lent celebration. It starts on the Twelfth Night, January 6th, and it is focused on the two weeks before Ash Wednesday. The activities include the Krewe ride that is seen atop the floats that are traveling through the city’s streets.  People receive doubloons, toys and other gifts that are thrown to them

Orange Madness Day- Koningsdag

The Orange Madness day or the Koingsdag is the Netherlands’ national holiday that commemorates the birthday of the King Willem Alexander on April 27.  This festival is known for its famous free market in which you can buy items. Kids are seen selling their toys. This is one of the biggest celebrations in the country and those who love partying are decked out in orange. The orange represents the Royal House of Orange. It is all orange  colorfor you to see when you witness it.

Vibrant Music Festival- Glastonbury

For a period of three days, Glastonbury burns the city in its most colorful music festivals. It features great bands and is celebrated in more than 30 venues. It is held annually and has become one of the biggest music festivals in the world where celebrities and famous bands and artistes including comedians come to perform.
