This is final resting place of Eva Peron which is always bringing thousands of visitors to this cemetery. The design is monumental to behold; it has carved mausoleums that are beautiful, huge marble statues and it is also here that some of the great personalities of Argentina are buried.
ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY, Washington DC
This is not just a cemetery, it is here that you would always come to remember that so many men gave up their lives for America, with over 360,000 American veterans lying here, covered with headstones, it has become a historic place to visit. You would find the grave of John F. Kennedy's grave. If there is one thing that you may not want to miss, it is the ceremonial changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier every thirty minutes in the spring and summer, and every hour on the hour from October to March.
Beethoven, Johann Strauss, Schubert, and several other famous names are all interred in Zentralfriedhof; this is the most famous and largest cemetery in Vienna. There is a monumental church in the center , and although this is mainly a Catholic cemetery, there are areas for the Protestant, Russian Orthodox, and Jewish.
SÃO JOÃO BATISTA CEMETERY, Rio de Janeiro
Antonio Carlos Jobim, who was the composer of "The Girl from Ipanema", Carmen Miranda, and aviation pioneer ,Alberto Santos-Dumont have their graves here. This cemetery is operated and owned by a a Catholic charity that was founded by the Portuguese during the colonial times. There are so many mausoleums and tombs and because of the many famous personalities here , it is called "the cemetery of the stars."
