It is not only the Eiffel Tower in Paris that is most talked about. There are other attractive sites that are well loved and spoken about even though, they are unrated by a lot of travel company. We have listed these sites for you to visit when you are planning for your next vacation.

Potala Palace

Located in Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region, China, The Potala Palace has become a great place to be in China. It is located on Marpo Ri hill, 130 meters that is  above the Lhasa valley. It rises 170 meters and is known to be  the greatest monumental structure in all of Tibet.  This is residence of the Dalai Lama until the 14th Dalai Lama had to  fled to India, after the Chinese invasion in 1959. This palaces is  welcoming to tourists. You can visit some of this stunning palace and learn more about it.

The Universe Cascade  is situated in Dumfries, Scotland. This is in a private area that is known as the Gardens of Cosmic Speculations. You can only visit here once a year when it is opened for the public. The staircase  is a great work of art that was built in the cascading waterfall structure. The criss crossing and the dramatic design with the 25 landings is amazing. It is what represents the importance of the cosmic history ,with the top being the present, and the bottom being the mysterious origin of the universe, as the steps disappear into dark waters.

 You may have seen a lot of opera houses but have you thought of what the Milan’s Teatro alla Scala, or La Scala looks like. Since it opened its door with the performance of “L’Europa Riconosciuta,” by Antonio Salieri, in 1778, this place has become a hot cake for music lovers. It was designed by  architect Giuseppe Piermarini in the Neoclassical style by, the red-and-gold theater is famous for its superb acoustics, which reveal the true abilities of a singer so accurately that a performance at La Scale is viewed as a trial by fire.

This is a series of walls that are situated in the  Peljesac peninsula, southern Croatia.  This is a 3.5 mile wall that links the two towns of Mali Ston and Ston. It was built at the narrowest point of the peninsula, that is before joining the mainland. This was the second line of defence for the city of Dubrovnik. It also protected  the precious salt pans and is Europe’s second longest wall, and it is one of the most famous walls in the world.

This is the largest mosque in Morocco but the seven largest in the world. The building that was completed in 19923 has the tallest minaret in the world that stands tall at 210m. the sea bed of the Atlantic ocean can be seen through the Mosque’s glass floors. The mosque can contain up to at least 100 thousand worshipers. 25 thousand can be held inside and the rest outside.
