The quality of life enjoyed by some countries will make you wish you could be born again and appear in one these countries. These are countries with the best quality of family life, longest life expectancy, governance, gender equality, personal security and political freedom.  It is interesting to note that after the 2013 rankings of countries with the highest quality of living, four of these countries were countries in Europe. Let’s now take a look at the top five  travel countries with the highest quality of life .

Switzerland

Switzerland ranked first among all other countries of the world with a total score of 8.2 out of 10. You can argue that money does not buy happiness buy with it you get a better life that can translate to happiness. In Switzerland, the average household income is approximately 30 thousand dollars per annum. On average, most people between the age of fifteen and sixty four have a high school degree and many of these are still in employment. Switzerland also has a high life expectancy that stands at 83 years.

Australia

Australia

Just like in Switzerland, more than seventy percent of people aged 15 to 64 years in Australia have earned a high school degree and while at least seventy percent of those between the ages of 25 to 64 are in some form of paid employment.  Life expectancy in Australia is 82 years and more than 93% of the people surveyed think they know someone on whom they can count on. While household income is on average about 31 thousand dollars per year, the cost of living is also high.

Norway

Norway

Norway has very high living standards with over 76% of people between 15 to 76 years have a paid job. At least 82% of people between the ages of 25 and 64 have earned a high school degree. The average life expectancy is 81 years old and when interviewed the people say they are satisfied with the quality of water. Most people are happy they know someone who can help them in time of need. Norway operates a system whereby there are higher taxes on the wealthy. This has helped to reduce the gap between the poor and the rich.

Sweden

Sweden ranked very high in most t of the factors that were considered in coming out with the index. The report shows that seventy four percent of the population between the ages of fifteen and seventy four is employed and at least seventy two percent of this same population has a high school degree. Life expectancy is also high at 82 years on average. The people are generally content with the services they receive from government.

Denmark

Denmark

Denmark has a population of a little above 5 million and receives on average 4 million people. The average income per year is about 25 thousand dollars with about 74% of people aged between 15 and 64 in paid employment. Life expectancy is 80 years and the people say they are happy with most of the public services. This is the reason why a lot of visitors are seen visiting this country.
