South Africa has earned its name for the Jeffrey’s Bay and its beautiful surfing place. It is just an hour’s drive from the Port Elizabeth and is a very crowded surfing place in the whole of Africa. It is popular by its sticking around with the surfers round the year. The surfing is most during the months of June, July and August. The surfers crowd here for fun and adventurous ride like Super tubes, Bone yards, and Kitchen windows, Magna Tubes, Albatross and Point. This place is very popular all over the world for hosting the well renowned Annual billboard Pro WCT contest. The surfers from all round the world come to participate in this contest.

Petra was the ancient capital of the Nabateans whose existence was masked by the discovery of trading routes in the sea. The city became completely lost and forgotten after the Arab invasion of the 7th century. It was only discovered in the 1800s by a Swiss adventurer. The site which is today known as the Pink city as it is popularly called thanks to the rose coloured sands that were used to build the many palaces and tombs has been in existence since about 1200 B.C. For a wonderful view of Petra, wait till dusks and watch from afar the flickering candle lights that are used to light up the place.

In cliff’s Edge the patio is of two levels a Ficus tree holds court in the center which is surrounded by an empty clam shells and candelabras, the tables are set to form a horseshoe around the tree, with the bamboo shooting out and a pond at the back the second level of seats looks like a long hut perched. The chefs works behind a window into the kitchen towards the front small service bar that turns to oyster station every Thursday night from 6pm, lots of, piles of lemons and platters of crushed ice and oysters are served. The cliff’s Edge is seen while standing at the twisty Sunset Boulevard without suspecting that the Cliff has a hidden oasis at the back.

Terrine

You will be welcomed into Terrine by the beautiful white walled sparkly mirror, the decoration in the inside will be seen from the deck light that radiate all over the restaurant. The lounge are at the other side  where you can sit and relax with family and loved ones , taking part in the barman Ryan with the tables under the twinkle light. At the central the Javanese bishop wood tree is essentially the main design component of the whole space with the tree emerging as the benevolent giant making Terrine look so charming as if it has been turn into a magical forest.
