Bandar Seri Begawan is the capital city of Brunei. It is the largest city of this country. It is known for its mosques. The Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque is the most famous mosque of the city. Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque
Omar Ali Sauifuddin Masjid is the most famous golden – domed mosque, built from 1954 to 1958 and named after 28th Sultan of Brunei. This spectacular religious building is the landmark of the city. This place is opened for public display to look at the living standard and wealth of the Sultan of this country. You will be told to remove your shoes before entering and it is forbidden to click pictures inside the museum. It is advisable to take a guide with you because a guide will give you all the required information about every single gift placed in this museum. All the interior of this place reflects Royalty. No entry fees will be required to visit this place.
Several gold and silver items are placed in the museum. The museum is modern, fully air - conditioned and well maintained by its staff. It also has information written near every gift. Jame’Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque
Jame’Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque is located in Gadong near Bandar Seri Begawan. This utterly beautiful building is the largest mosque in Brunei. It is famous for its awesome interior. It is one of the best architectural pieces. The timings are restricted. You will be required to wear black robe and carry a head scarf which will make your experience very interesting.

A huge variety of food including local vegetables, medicinal plants and herbs and species are being sold here. Fresh catch of the day from local waters including fish, crabs, squid, prawns and shellfish etc. are also sold in this market.
