Cambodia is a land of low plains and forested hills. It has a warm tropical climate, fertile soil, and plentiful monsoon rains which make it an ideal rice growing country. In the countryside, most of the inhabitants are rice farmers and village settlers engage in home made crafts. In the city, rickshaws dominate the road as few Cambodians can afford cars. Bicycles and motorcycles are the most popular form of transportation. Religious temples (wat), houses on stilts along the river, and a rich expanse of rice fields are just a few the sceneries that welcome every curious traveler.
