The Central African Republic is considered as one of the developing countries in the world others even see this country as least developed but it has so much for the adventure that you cannot afford to miss.  Most people fear visiting this spectacular country because of the several periods of political instability that this country has experienced since 1960 when it attained its independence. However, the country is currently undergoing a peace process and it has democratically elected government in its capital city of Bangui. We decided to visit this particular country so that we could have so much more of the tour, the adventure, and breath taking experience that you need to just go there and find out for yourself. This is why I am very excited to tell you the story of my visit to the Central African Republic. It was very wonderful and I loved it so much. My boyfriend also loved it a lot and that is the reason why we chose it as the best place to have our vocational tour. It was such an amazing experience in this place.

We went to the Dzanga-Sangha National Park in the South west part of the country for a good tour. This national park is situated in the south western part of the Central African Republic where it actually separates Cameroon from Congo. It actually attracts several visitors to the country. There is a small village right near the park called the Bayanga which is at the bank of river Sangha. We had to go to the park by the river and it was very wonderful to sail along the river looking at the cool blue waters and the water creatures as we moved on. We loved the gorillas, the elephants and the aka people all found here in Central African Republic. I never wanted to get out of this great national park because I just love everything there. The animals were very friendly and I actually started enjoying playing around with them even though I had been afraid of some of the animals especially the crocodiles initially.

We moved to Doli lodge since we had also invited some of our friends for this great event so that we could take the chance to have our party somewhere different and unique. We carried our own supplies as a group to use during this event. This is because the place is only open to a group that come with their supplies. The lodge however was very luxurious and had nice rooms. There were even the private bathrooms and also clean running water in place. Doli is a word in Central African Republic that means elephant and this is the name that was given to this lodge because of its luxurious look and it is also very spacious. There are two Americans who have been living in Bayanga for several years like Louis Sarno who has spent around twenty years in the place while the other one called Andrea had actually spent 15 years tracking some herd of elephants in the park. We cooked the food that we carried as a group and we enjoyed the party. At the end of it all, everyone was very happy.

We moved to Bangui, the capital city of Central African Republic. This is a great city that is just beside the Oubangui River. This river is a very important city in the country. This city is actually one of the biggest trading ports that are very nice to visit. It is now considered as the old town. Most of the public transport and several activities still converge in this particular place. It was a fantastic place to be in and just having the view of the buildings in the city of which most of the buildings are very ancient and they look very spectacular. Seeing the locals in this place was also good as we interacted with them. They are very friendly people to be around and we felt at home, especially after talking to some of the locals who assured us that the place no longer have petty thieves and insecurities that used to be there before.

We also visited the waterfall in the upper Mpoko River. This waterfall is actually one of the UNESCO world heritage site.  The falls are naturally beautiful and it can be easily seen from the bridge. We loved being here and we enjoyed all in the waterfall. We dived in it and we were able to enjoy ourselves to the fullest. The whole group had something to enjoy in this place. Some had a stroll along the river to see different kinds of plants while some enjoyed diving in the waterfall and it was just amazing. I am actually planning to have another visit to this place especially during the rainy season to have a great time in the waterfall that I have been longing for.

We also went to another waterfall in Central African Republic called the Chutes de Boali. It is worth a visit especially during the rainy season. When the rains are so much, the waterfalls get quite amazing since the cascade reaches its full volume. The waterfall gave us so much fun as we played around with the waters, we dived in the water and we also had a walk around the place just along the rivers as we looked at how the water was flowing so fast through the waterfall. We realised another town nearby called the Bossembele. Bossembele is a town that is near this waterfall and this is where you can actually do some shopping. We spent most of the time in the waterfall and this was time well spent for all of us because we had a wonderful experience. After that we moved to the shopping center to have some little shopping. It was such a great time buying some sculptures, statues and clothes that depict the Central African Republic culture. Everyone had something to celebrate about at the end of the day.

We decided to have a stroll in the Bossembele town to have some shopping of the native traditional items of Central African Republic in this town. We could not have enough of shopping in this place because most of us really love shopping. So we went further to the interior part of this city where we got some few goods to entertain us. My husband found some good sandals that he found at a very affordable price. He bought them and even insisted on buying another pair for his brother. He actually loves his brother so much and he just thought of him because he knew that he also love such sandals. He also bought for me some good dress designed in an African style. Being in this place was very important to us because we were able to get together and interact closely with some of our colleagues and friends who joined us in this place. They were all grateful for the invitation because they had a lot of fun and enjoyed themselves. Everyone was feeling relaxed and much rejuvenated thereafter.

We eventually went to Zinga which is a small town that lie on the banks of the Oubangui River. This river actually flows through the Southern part of the Central African Republic which is in Africa. This town also has the ferry port with vessels that sails to the Brazzaville and Bangui. We actually used a boat when we were going to Zinga from the capital city of Central African Republic and when we were going back we decided to adventure more by using the canoe. This was just an amazing trip that we had and everyone was excited. It is the kind of experience that you want to remember all the time and when you remember all that happened, you actually want to go back and have the fun once again.
