This place was used as a memorial for this royal family for their cremation.

A wonderful mansion, which is located in the center of Jaisalmercity is Patwaon-Ki-Haveli. This Haveli was a creation of a very popular trader Guman Chand. He has done this with the help of his sons. This mansion is five stories and is having five suites which are decorated intricately. The walls and the corridors of this mansion are decorated and designed so well that it reflects the artwork of olden days. Yellow sandstone was used in the construction of this mansion and it is not any more a complete mansion. The 3rd floor of the museum is now converted into a museum, which exhibits the bygone era’s craftsman work.

Patwaon-Ki-Haveli

You will not be able to believe your eyes when you are inside the museum. You cannot expect such interesting art work on a sandstone and this work is just amazing. It is still the same and you will love it for sure. Each wall, each pillar, each corridor is having an excellent work done on them.
