Just returned from Limerick. I must say it a beautiful place to escape to. It is the best place to make one familiar with the Irish history and culture. There are many churches, forts and museums to see. The most popular one is Hunt Museum. It is in the city and have some of the greatest collection of the time. . The main attraction of this museum is a small sketch of Picasso and a bronze horse from a design by Leonardo da Vinci for a large monument. There are many other places like The Limerick City Gallery of Art that has the collection of great Irish artists. Those painting were really awesome. Limerick has many more pace to visit. I loved that place.

Limerick is nice, mmmmm very sceptical about this statement, I live there for 3.5 yrs, nothing special, unless you travel to clare, the cliff of moher, a place that you must visit.

I am completely agree with you takuntung.... The cliffs of the Moher and the Clare valley and the castle hotels are the main attraction of the Limerick city...
The Clare Hotels of Limerick are the best place to enjoy and get familiar with the Irish culture and tradition....

Mark.
