Sometimes an unexpected thing creates pleasant memories for a lifetime. This is what exactly happened to us last month when my husband and I travelled to Ireland for our honeymoon. We had been to Ireland one time prior to our wedding. Ireland is a beautiful country dotted with lovely beaches and spectacular natural beauty. We have always loved the charm of this country and that is why we chose Ireland as our honeymoon destination. But this time the thing that amazed us the most was our castle hotel.

Killiney Castle

We stayed in Fitz Patrick Castle hotel. This 4 star castle hotel is located near Killiney beach. During our stay in this castle hotel we felt like as if we have stepped back in the time and enjoying the luxury of Kings and Queens of older times. We were welcomed in royal Irish style by the staff. It was very overwhelming. We had booked a Sea view Classic Room. It was very beautiful. The elegant color of the walls was enhancing its beauty. Stepping into our room filled us with the sensation of royalty. The spectacular views of Dublin Bay from our balcony were the biggest surprise for us. We were very happy that we made a great decision to stay in this castle hotel.

We tasted some delicious cuisines in the PJ’s restaurant in our hotel. The food was very yummy and we were impressed by their quick service. There is a very nice library in the hotel where you could sit and enjoy reading your favorite book. If you are a fitness freak then you would definitely love the fitness room which is filled with numerous fitness equipments. The dining hall was regal and we loved the food they served at dinner. The melodious background music made the environment very romantic. We loved watching the lovely night views of Dublin Bay from our balcony. Well, all I want to say is that you must feel the royalty of Castle Hotel whenever you travel to Ireland. There are many castle hotels near Killiney Beach and you could choose anyone as per your desire and budget. You would love the royalty and services of these hotels.

Apart from the magnificent hotels, Ireland also possesses dazzling beaches and many other places where you can have loads of fun. We visited several places in different cities of Ireland during our vacations. After relaxing in our hotel; we left to enjoy the beauty and magnificence of Ireland. We started from the National Botanic Garden.  It’s a lovely park where you can see countless colorful flowers. The lush green garden and the beautiful flowers charged us with numinous energy. This well-managed park makes a peaceful environment where you can unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. There are some brilliant sculptures which add to the beauty of this wonderful park. The greenhouses are very well kept. This garden is a pleasant place and there is lots to see. It took us around two hours to see all of it. We were pleased to see the variety of flowers and trees. If you are planning to visit this garden in your Ireland Travel then go ahead; it won’t disappoint you.

Dublin Zoo was next to follow after National Botanic Gardens. This zoo is one of the oldest zoos of our planet. There are around 600 animals in this zoo. It’s a great place for spotting wildlife. We have seen many zoos around the globe but Dublin Zoo is the most appealing among all of them. The beautiful lakes, colorful flower beds take the beauty of this zoo to another level. Animals are kept in their natural habitats. Watching animals in their environment was very pleasing. Monkeys were very funny. They were looking at us with their mysterious eyes as if we were planning to steal their bananas. It made us laugh out louder. It was a great entertainment to watch them trying to copy us. We saw an elephant sprinkling water on himself. He might be enjoying his bath. Watching animals enjoying in their own environment was very pleasurable and overwhelming. We watched many animals including Lions and Deer. We sat near the lake to enjoy the glory of this zoo. We had a great time at this wonderful place. Do visit this wonderful zoo to spot amazing wildlife.

During our stay in Dublin, we also went to see the campus and architecture of Trinity College. I had not expected that this place would be so interesting. I was really very impressed. The campus of Trinity Collage is the best college campus that I have ever seen. Its architecture is a magnificence of creativity. I was feeling like as If I have travelled to Harry Potter’s Hogwarts. The old library was very impressive. Reading the Book of Kells in its old library was one of the most interesting things that I have ever done in my life. We also got to know that how books were made in the older times. It was very interesting to know that books were made using wood and leather. We had planned two hour visit at this place but we didn’t even notice when the afternoon flew away. We had a memorable time at the campus of Trinity College. Even if you are not interested in reading books still you must visit this campus to see its stunning architecture and for listening to the interesting stories of Trinity College.

After spending three memorable days in Dublin; we headed to Dingle. This town is famous for its lively pubs, beautiful beaches and matchless natural beauty. Countless tourists visit this town to watch the unmatched splendid views of Great Blasket Island. We had read the history of this island. Actually it was inhibited till 1953 and then due to safety reasons, all the inhabitants were shifted to safe areas. This island is the birthplace of three great Irish writers. We were very excited to see this island. Our trip to Great Blasket Island became a great lifetime experience for us. This island is exceptionally beautiful.

We had planned our trip to Great Blasket Island with a guide. He joined us with a group of other four people. All of them were very friendly. Getting the first look of this beautiful island was truly a magical moment. We were only seven people on this whole island. We were feeling like being in another world. Our guide told us many interesting facts and stories about the Great Blasket Island. He took us to the museum where we got to know more about the tradition and culture of the natives of this island. We had a great time in this wonderful place. Visit this island to enjoy its matchless beauty and to know its great history.

Till now, we had enjoyed the glory of nature, wildlife, artistic architecture and history of Ireland. Now, we wanted to fill our vacations with Adventure and for this we decided to contact Irish Adventures. It’s a company that organizes several tours ranging from kayaking to ghost hunt. We chose to do kayaking. We experienced the most enchanting experience of Kayaking in Dingle Bay. The crystal clear water was looking very lovely. The terrific surroundings of Dingle made our Kayaking experience even more pleasurable and joyful. We were lost in the magical ambiance of Dingle Bay. We saw some amazing rock formation. Our guide was a hilarious person. He let us enjoy the beauty of Dingle Bay. We also got an opportunity to get into some caves. It was very fascinating. We had a great day out there. Don’t leave Ireland without experiencing any aquatic activity in Dingle Bay.
