Italy is country of sun, decisions food and well dressed people. Tourist industry is very developed here. Italy is a perfect destination for any time of the year. In winter one can enjoy skiing, in summer - swimming,  in spring- sightseeing and in autumn-some great examples of  fashion . Actually all of those are applicable for any time of the year. First class shopping , resorts and food are always available in Italy. The only problem a traveller can meet is making a destination decision. The county is so rich of tourist attractions that  choosing the most appealing one is a hard task. But hard doesn’t mean impossible. Here they are, five coolest tourist attraction sites in Italy:

Turin is a capital of a car industry in Italy. This is the the place where FIAT was born. Besides that it is also a birthplace of vermouth and the capital of 2006 Olympic games. Unlikely other Italian cities Turin is very calm and discrete. It is a great shopping alternative to Milan where streets are always crowded. The main streets are Via Garibaldi, Via Roma and Via Po. The plan of the city is quite simple, most of of the streets cross perpendicularly and it’s very unlikely to get lost here. Special attention deserve local antique shops and coffee houses. Among Italians Turin is known as the city of sweet lovers.

 

Venice

Venice is world famous tourist destination. In a list of most romantic cities in Europe Venice always make it to the top five. The most popular place here is a San Marco Square where the Famous tower and San Marco Basilica is located. Another must see here is a gondolas trip through the canals. Great way to see the city and get it’s spirit. The biggest and certainly most famous event here is the Carnival of Venice. Founded in  1979 it still attract tourist from all around the globe.

Despite the fact that Rome is an official capital of Italy most of the Milanese are deeply convinced that Milan would be a better one. It is said that all street’s of the city are leading to the Duomo and the statement is reasonable,  Duomo di Milano is third biggest catholic cathedral in the world.

The spirit of empires, gladiators and religious wars .Certainly Colosseo is the most famous sight in Rome. Not so long ago, in 2007, Colosseo made it to a list of the New 7 Wonders of the World.

Verona is the city that can compete with Venice in being the most romantic place in Italy. What makes it romantic is the story of Romeo and Juliet. Here is located famous balcony of love. The balcony where Shakespeare’s characters took their tragic decisions and the balcony where modern couples take a decision to love each other forever. Of course it is not proven that exactly this balcony has something to do with Shakespeare but a magic of love always requires a bit of a mystery.
