Himalayan Hidden Valley Trekking
There are some places in Nepal which remain untouched for many years. The hidden valley is surrounded by the Boudha Himal and Himal chuli to the west, Ganesh Himal to the south & Sringi Himal to North. Since it is the remote because of which it is detached from the other regions, this sacred valley and its people are have not taste the mainstream of development for centuries. Dolpo is an ancient Tibetan kingdom located in the north east part of Nepal. It was only opened to trekkers in 1990. Dolpo region is the most remote and least developed district in Nepal. Only the few anthropologist and geographer had explores the region. It is one of the remote trekking in ancient Buddhist lands and it’s a journey into the kingdom of guru Rinpoche. Dolpo region situated between the Tibetan plateau and the Dhaulagiri Himalayan range is the highest inhabited land of Dolpo. This is the land full of rugged natural beauty. The trekking is suitable for that person who wants to understand the remoteness and exotic beauty of the nature. On the way to trekking you will get to see many gompas and villages and ethnic people. During this trek which will leave an unforgettable experience on you. The center of attraction is lovely Lake Phoksundo, famous forever changing color of its waters. Here are steps on to the edge of the Trans-Himalayan plateau that extends from Tibet down into Nepal. This is the region of some of Nepal’s most remarkable wildlife, including the blue sheep, the Serow and Snow Leopard. The snow Leopard and Himalayan pilgrimage have contributed to revealing the mystery and attraction of Dolpo.

Tsum Valley is one of world’s remotest Himalayan valleys which were also a restricted region. The Tsum valley has long history of Buddhism; the ancient remains of the Tsum Kingdom are still visible today. Due to its remoteness and detachment, from other region this sacred valley and its people could not develop for centuries. As a result, the unique culture of this valley has remained unharmed. The trials are strewn with artistic Chortens and lined with Mani walls made of thousands of stone slabs carved with drawings of deities and inscribed with prayers. People living there are still engaged in agriculture, grow barley and tend to their yaks. Opened for tourism only a few years ago, Tsum Valley offers authentic traditional culture plus breathtaking beauty and big mountain views. The valley is uniquely rich in wildlife, especially the Himalayan Thar and Blue Sheep which can be seen in herds of 50 to 200. Hunting, fishing is not permitted in the Tsum Valley. The valley also boasts some unique and historic monasteries, including Rachen Gumba and Mu Gumba, which lie on a pretty plateau lies in the lap of the valley, and Gumba Lungdang, situated at the base of a conical hill against the main slope of Ganesh Himal. Tsum is the great place to visit.

The meaning of the Dhaulagiri is” the white mountain”. It is the seven highest mountains in the world, and is located in the north central Nepal.
