Dress is generally informal; bring smart casual clothes if you plan on visiting restaurants and clubs.

There are no snakes or dangerous wild animals.

Me and my husband were there twice, allways in February and March. This time is early automn and the day temepratures were nice to wonder and hike around. And it is nearly out of the season, so the places are not too crowded and the prices are reasonable. Nevertheless that the last time we visit NZ the weather was quite stormy we enyoj every moment. I wish you good time. NZ is great and I would like to go there once again. Have fun!

Hi there,

The best time to travel to new zealand for the snow and everything winter you should try getting over there in the months of july and august for both north island and south island.

If your after clear skies and warmer climate between december and february.

North Island you definitley want to visit Cape Reinga, Paihia , lake Taupo, Cape Runnaway and Wellington.

South Island well anywhere in the south island you will definitley enjoy if you love seafood? then venture to the Bluff for Bluff oysters and  they are a must!

Accomodation in general is pretty good depending on where you are wanting to stay?
