Abuja is the capital of Nigeria, the most populated city in the country with over 776,298 inhabitants at the 2006 census. It is a city that is well planned and attracts millions of visitors yearly. It has become one of the most beautiful cities in the Africa. In Africa, it is the best purpose built city and is Nigeria’s center of administration.  Abuja has become a home to green areas and parks with the Millennium Park being the largest, designed by Manfredi Nicoletti. There are lots of hotels ranging from the budget hotels to five star hotels that offer great services to its visitors.

You can travel to Abuja and experience modern and organized urbanization that is combined with tourism.  From education, tourism, fashion, education, commerce and entertainment, the city got it all spread out for you to explore.  The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport serves visitors who are coming into the country from different part of the world.


The Aso Rock

There are lots of places to be when you come to Abuja. Whether you are in Abuja for leisure or business trip, the city has a lot of social activities for you to get involved with. The Aso Rock Presidential Villa which is the President of Nigeria’s official residence can be place to take a peek in when you are in Abuja. This is one of the most beautiful tourist attraction centers in the city.  Some distance from this location is a large mountain called the Aso Rock, a historic part of the city that is very significant and very magnificent to first time visitors.

You can drive to the NNPC Towers which is the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation’s headquarters and have a feel of its gigantic structure located in the Central part of the city where you can see find the National Christian Centre, Abuja  and other corporation headquarters.
