Benidorm Beaches

Benidorm proudly boasts two of the biggest, cleanest and most popular beaches in Spain. The two huge sweeping crescents stretch for a total of 6 kilometres and are known as "Levante" and "Poniente" - Spanish for sunrise and sunset. With consistently high quality Blue Flag bathing water, lifeguard patrols, a wealth of water sports and beachfront cafes, the beaches of Benidorm can rival the best in the world.

For the young - or at least young at heart! - Levante beach is the place to be on those long and not so lazy summer days. It's where the teenagers gather to see and be seen, the families flock for all-day entertainment for the kids.and older people sit for hours and watch in fascination as Benidorm's beach life goes by.

Hello

Thanks for sharing this informative information. Benidorms beaches are justifiably famous and the resort's continuing success owes much to those fabulous golden crescents. This is the sandy holiday hub for those who're out for fun and frolics, and is known as the sunrise beach. In high season it can get pretty crowded, although there are quite literally thousands of sun beds (over 5000 in case you're curious). It's backed by a broad promenade sporting bars and cafes and in short...it's lively! .

Thanks
have a nice time ahead.

i don't really fancy benidorm, i think it is because of the reputation of the place.

you can't really judge a place by the reputation you get from a tv show. you should really give it a chance.

benidorm isn't just a little part of england in spain. the old town and lesser frequented parts of it are still as spanish as you like. and if all else fails you could always use benidorm as a base to visit other parts of the area

The longest and cleanest/sandiest of the two main beaches,Poniente is mainly occupied by the local residents of Benidorm and as such, is less over crowed and easier to use.It is also far sandier than levante and you can walk for miles without fear of rocks/etc.Sea is also shallow so it is safe for children,Bars and restaurants along it as well. The beaches in Benidorm are truly spotless and now have showers and foot showers also
