Things To Do In Cha-am
A district in the southern art of Phetchaburi Province in central Thailand, Cha-Am is one of the best places that Thailand can offer. The district was established in the year 1987 and was named Na Yang. In the year 1914, the center was moved to Tha Yang and the name was again changed to Nong Chok. After the Second World War though, the district moved its center to tambon Cha-Am and named the district Cha Am too. Considered to be one of the most beautiful beach resort towns in Thailand, it is located right on the gulf making it just awesome in every way possible. Cha Am is known for its laid back atmosphere and its quiet beaches along with superb restaurants and accommodations.
The beach stretches to about 5 kilometers and has a wide range of activities that you can indulge in. It is essentially a Thai Resort though it caters to a huge number of foreign tourists. So if you have been looking for original Thailand which has not been polluted with foreign mixings, then this is it. For diving deeper into the sea or snorkeling you should be treading a bit more to the south where the waters are just apt for such activities. Totally worth a visit, the Mrigadayavan Palace is a beautiful palace, right besides the sea. First and the foremost things is that when you reach here, make sure that you are appropriately dressed. Jurassic Mountain and Fishing Park
Even if fishing is not what you can handle efficiently, this place will make you want to try it for days together. A stay here for a couple of days is what you need to explore this place completely. The rooms are luxurious and offer the best modern amenities for living. The fishing resort also has a large swimming pool to accommodate the lounge beach chairs as well and the restaurant is very good. Clean and hygienic the restaurant serves excellent fresh cooked food and offer English and Thai cuisines. The Thai cuisines are a must try with many dishes sampling as your favorite later. The park has greatly developed in the last few years and has been ranked as one of the best destinations in Thailand. You can simply jump into the water and get a big one in your hands. Then there is a brute of a carp which is almost 172 pounds and keeps running away trying to hide away from even showing a glimpse of itself. Santorini Water Fantasy park
All details about the Santorini Water Fantasy park are available online and once you see this place, you will feel like flying to Thailand only for the sake of visiting this park once. Affordable and awesome, the fun in this park is for children and adults alike. Being too impressed with it you can take the trip twice as well. There are certain height measurements that you have to meet here, so very young kids may not be able to able to enjoy all the rides here. There is about a total of 12 water rides here which are great fun. The park also provides you the necessary life jackets that may be needed to keep you safe. You have to wear a wristband when you enter this park and it has a chip embedded in it. This chip allows you to link it to the Facebook account. If you have forgotten your swimming suit and goggles, there Is no need to worry. The park will provide all things to you. You can play, dance, swim and take slides in the water park after your entry. Some slides are not meant for all and have a weight limitation of about 70 kilos for being on them. Kaeng Krachan National Park
Cha Am is one place where you need to see the wildlife at the Kaeng Krachan National Park. Regardless of you having the work permits of the driver’s license, this place has an entry fee that you have to pay. There are many camping sights here and you can also. They provide you with tents, sleeping bags; pillars and all tents for rent you. You can even hire cars for moving around at your own will. Within two days of a good active trek you would be able to see many lizards, jungle fowls, and gibbons. You may also be lucky to spot squirrels, birds and butterflies closing pass by you. A view point called the Paneon Thung Viewpoint has excellent view points and to catch the best views you need to be rushing here early morning.
The entire valley is covered with fog and is the best sight to see. This national park is not too crowded and so makes you feel just at ease, with yourself. There are some people who have spotted tigers also. A lot of natural habitat for the animals have been kept safe and is a beautiful natural park with organized tours and adventure packages. You can also choose to stay at the Samran Bird Camp and they would be obliged to arrange a driver and a tour guide for you. The roads are pretty rough in many places and the cars need to cross rivers and streams. Once you arrive at the top, you can have a brilliant view from the top.
